Scarborough Manor is one of Westchester County’s most sought after green coop communities for 21st century living on the historic Hudson in the  village of Ossining, N.Y., one of the Rivertowns located along the Hudson River, 25 miles north of New York City.  It is three square miles in size and has a diverse population of 25,000.  As residents of Scarborough Manor have learned, Ossining played an important part in pre-Revolutionary War history and is also now the home of the historic Sing Sing Correctional Facility and in the hamlet of Sparta, a historic section of Ossining dating back to the 1600s. The Jug Tavern, on our corner is a historic site where lectures and tours are given.
